Though, how have you survived going through life without having seen Buckaroo Banzai?
You must have had a rough, deprived childhood.
I've survived quite easily. I'm 14;p And so far my childhood hasn't been to bad LOL. I will definetly check out the Buckaroo Banzai series, soon anyways.
Ah, to be young again and able to con my olds into buying stuff for me....like that cool Batobil toy.
I only read The Phantom. I know, it's terrible!
For shame Dougy!
You really should give some of our other books a try, great reads are awaiting you!
Are you overseas, is that the problem? We COULD send you your comic order using the "economy class", but we've discovered over the years, that the US post offfice's international economy class is "economy" for one very good reason: IT SUCKS!!! ! Not only does it take FOREVER for us to mail anything overseas using that system, BUT sometimes it NEVER reaches its destination, OR it gets there, after a month or two, BUT the box is destroyed. This is why we charge what we charge for our international mailings. We are not trying to rip anyone off, far from it, we just want to make sure that you actually receive the books you order in a somewhat timely fashion. I wish they would just pefect that "transport" technology that Star Trek uses, that would be quite handy for all you folks that live overseas! "ZAP" it would just appear on your desk or nightstand, ready for reading, talk about convenience! Alas, it has not worked out in our favor, just yet, but maybe someday, before we are all dead and gone...
Yes, I am overseas, but no, it isn't a problem as the comic store I got to is bloody brilliant and gets all of Moonstone's titles. I have been considering which picking up another Moon book, but I don't like jumping in the middle of things so I'm waiting for a new book or a good jumping on point from another searies to pop up it's head.

Dougy, all of Moonstone's series [well at least from my own experiences] are SUPER easy to jump into with out getting confused. WOW your LCS [local comic shop] has all of Moonstone's titles?? Good grief, mine has like, 3:mad02: Well that's where the online store comes into play I guess:mrgreen:
True, most Moonstone titles are pretty self contained.
Phantom is the only series with a lot of issues out there. The rest are all minis and one shots.
Not like Marvel or DC were there 's a ga-zillion titles and a crossover every five minutes.

The only other Moonstone series that has a lot of stories in it is the whole Kolchak Franchise. Heck, even THAT is easy to jump into for guys [and girls] who aren't familiar with the character!
Yeah that's one of the main problems I have with the BIG 2, it's just so damn hard to jump onto a story and not go insane!
That's why nearly all of my DC/Marvel titles are minis ( or usually in danger of cancelation)
I think I'm only buying three DC ongoings ( though, I don't know if you can count 52 as a mini-series) and no on-goings from marvel.
On the bright side, this leaves me enough money to start picking up more Moonstone titles.
From DC I only read BATMAN.
While from Marvel: ASM, USM, The Ultimates, UXM, Daredevil and CIVIL WAR [and a few of it's tie ins]
There are a lot of new Moonstone projects coming up in the next few months which are going to be taking a lot of money!
Kolchak - anything! (surprise, surprise) and getting into The Phantom. So far I have the Graham Nolan Sundays Vol. 1 and Legacy.
Love 'em all!
