No, that is not what I mean at all. But how about publsihing multipul part stories in order so new comers aren't at the risk of being confused. Presenting the comic a little better, and not giveing away the ending of the stories in his opening introduction. Returning the letters page would be good too as younger fans like to see that folks read the letters they send ot their comics.
Dougy, I have just read your post elsewhere where you wonder why I pick on you. I don't, so let me say here that I agree with all the above suggestions.
So Frew run arcs over a long period of time as well? You can accuse Egmont of the same.
Pip
Frew reprints Egmont material, but the thing is they know it's going to be a multi part story so why no wait untill they have ALL the parts and then print them one after the other? it owuld make sense.

Yeah, I agree with that.
I suppose they could pick old Egmont stories not yet published in Frew, do a few Falk issues, use the new dailies/Sundays, etc. until all the episodes are in.
I think that Egmont like to spread these episodes out in order to keep the readers tuned in for a longer period of time and buy the issues 'in between' as a matter of course, and possibly Frew feel the same.
Pip
Frew apart from my other suggestion (which I was not joking about) needs to give the magazine a new make over. Flash it up with cool graphics and covers, increase the page number a little and add letters, articles, bios of Phantom people etc. I could go on and on.....
I spoke with Jim about publishing a Moonstone story. Egmont no longer produces enough stories, so he has to search through older Semic work. He felt that Frew fans wouldn't appreciate Moonstone's approach. Perhaps after seeing Mike's work, he will reconsider.

I don't think Frew should publish Moonstone stories! Would Moonstone make a lot of money out of it?? JIm Sheperd should just put an add in a Frew issue about Moonstone's Phantom series!! Also, why doesn't Frew just produce their OWN Phantom stories??
Moonstone has the license for Phantom publications in the US. Frew has the license for Phantom publications in Australia. It's not easy for Australian fans to read Moonstone comics.
Although there are some fans, who after seeing Moonstone's work, might be interested in obtaining them through secondary sources...even if just to have them in color.

How much different will Mike's work be? He doen't do the art himself, do he? And when will his work be published?

The first half of his first story is scheduled to come out at the end of this month.
He has some very powerful stuff coming out that unfortunately won't hit the stands for many months.

This is what f's me the most about Frew, is that Jim thinks he knows what the readers want. How the hell would he know if AUssie Phans would liek the Moonstone books or not?

I don't really know what you mean there? Do you mean hard ot obain them or hard to enjoy them?
