"Walker’s Line” Part 1 of 2

A young Phantom is on the trail of his Father’s murderer, but when the trail goes cold, he finds himself near the small US town of Clarksville where he attended High School. However, when The Phantom drops by to visit his Aunt and Uncle, he soon discovers this quiet town now trembles in the grip of the Grinning Skulls street gang and The Phantom’s aunt was their latest victim!

So this kind of like a mini Year 1 arc??
In the regular series of DC back in the late 80s (or early 90s). There was a similar story line with the Phantom going agaisnt KKK supporters and having to rescue his high school/ college mate and Diana and Uncle and Aunt.

Is it a similar storyline with the gang etc???

Im looking forward to it and hopefully it will be better than Egmonts Y1

I'm not familiar with that DC story, so I couldn't say if it is or isn't.

Well to be honest its probably good if your not familar with it as then noone could blame you for rehashing the story again.

I remember you did not want to read the DC stuff before you were finished with Falk's stories, but I would like to say that I would love, love, LOVE to see some stories inspired by Mark Verheiden's genius take on the character.

Yeah makes sense wanting to read Falk first and before others.
