I was thinking about how I like that Moonstone is bringing back all these older characters and that got me thinking about who else deserves to be rescued from literary limbo.
My list:
Mandrake ( if you've got the Phantom... )
Avenger ( after the Spider and Doc, one of my favorite pulp heroes)
Voyage of the Scarlet Queen ( great old radio show about a ship, plowing the seas from San Fransisco to China in the 30's and stumbling over murder and smugglers at every stop)
G-8 and his battle Aces ( WW 1 aces vs monsters and mad scientists!)
No specific character in mind, but it would be nice if there were more pirate comics in the world.
Anybody else want to add to the list?

This one doesn't sound familiar, but it certainly sounds interesting!
I stumbled across the Scarlet Queen at radiolovers.com.
Great site. lots of old radio shows in all genres. Highly recommended.
Scarlet Queen is a neat mix of noir and high seas adventure.

Those idea's sound brilliant!
Mandrake would be so cool to see.. and I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Moonstone is going to do a few Avenger stories.. I'll get back to you on that!
If Moonstone starts doing new Avenger, Spider and Doc Savage stories they will become my new favorite people in the world and I'll just drive up to their office and throw my money at the building.
Then I start thinking about A Doc/ Avenger crossover mini, written by Chuck Dixon and I get light headed and have to sit down.

Hi everyone!
As far as Mandrake, not at this time, but you never know what might happen down the road!
The Avenger, we are working on the details right now. The plan is to publish a collection of short prose stories, similar to the Spider Chronicles currently in the works. And if that project goes well, who knows what thre future may hold...
G-8, I am familair with those pulps, and honestly war comics/war story collections are a tuff sell in the current comic book industry. Go figure! War comics USED to be a HUGE seller, back in the day!
Pirate comics? Aren't there enough Pirate comics out there, lol? It seems to be the trend right now, lol. That damn Pirates of the Car. movie with Jonnny Depp sure didn't hurt the pirate market! We do have a pirate short story in the Kolchak Casebook prose anthology, shipping around Halloween. So we are aware that pirates are the hip new thang! Pirates are fun!
Moonstone Gal out for now!
Cool all the response this is getting, but I'm a bit bummed that nobody else seems to be adding to the list.
I can't be the only old pulp/ serial/ radio fan out there with a strong tendency to day dream and too much free time.
Cool to hear about the Avenger and that you guys are expanding the prose book line.
Too many pirate comics!? That's just crazy talk! It's like saying there's too many flavors of Ben and Jerry's'.
Okay, here's a more realistic wish list thought:
You guys should do more with Robin Hood. Seems like there was that one shot and that was it.
He's as big an icon as the Phantom and has a lot of potential for new stories, rather than just retelling the old ones.

I'll write that! Robin Hood is a great character.
After the Robin Hood one shot I'm pretty sure there was a Black and White trade with 3 stories in it. Robin Hood is such a sweet character.
A King Arthur mini would be cool. Heck, anything with Knights is good with me.
