I like the art. Rearte reminds me a lot about Nick Derington's work on two former issues.

Just read the preview of issue #12. So what did I think? Well, I’m very intrigued. Mikes got an interesting idea here, that of using a pheromone from the tigers to sell as a sex-product. It’s nice to see the Phantom riled at this pointless killing of beautiful animals. Possibly most importantly is that this new villain is really freaky. He just sits there, hardly saying a work, and with one flash of his dagger and an evil grin I want to run and hide. I can’t wait to see what that guy is all about. It seems he may be part of the tiger-hunting, but if so why isn’t he with the three other blokes? No, there has to be more to it!
As for the art, well, it’s a bit of a mixed bag for me. Some of the pages look amazing, such as the first one set inside the bar, but others, such as the frame of the Phantom crouching down with the lion cubs, just looks off. The interesting thing though is that it’s sort of a mix between Pat Lee, Alvin Lee, Michael Turner and Erik J. At least, that’s what I got from it. The cover images though (the image of the Phantom facing off against the bloke with the sword – I’m guessing that is a cover) look amazing!
This preview defiantly hasn’t stopped me from looking forward to Mikes run. I’m very interested to see where this story goes.
That art looks very intruging! The panel with the Phantom kneeling over the tiger didn't quite look right though.. apart from that, it was great! The giant explosion looked VERY cool! Only 2 weeks to go!!:mrgreen:
