I realise that the whole Kolchak franchise is one of Moonstone's biggest sellers, meaning there must be lots of Kolchak fans! What I cannot realise thoug is that fact that there is little discussion about Kolchak on this forum!! If you're out there, don't be shy and start posting!:grin:

Well, I'LL say something. The Kolchak Tales" Ghost Stories special is at the printer as we speak. And in a perfect world with no problems, we may see it juuuuuust before Halloween. (But knowing my luck, just after it.) In either case, the wait is nearly over!
Alright I've thought up the top 3 reasons as to why peope aren't posting:
1: They've seen how crazy we are and want to take no part in any conversation with us.
2: They read my post about how I think the GN's suck and absolutely hate me for that and don't want to have a conversation with me.
3: All the Kolchak fans except the 3-4 who post here.. don't even know this place exists
On a side note:
Can't wait for GHOST STORIES!

Sorry I haven't been around lately (assuming you guys noticed I haven't), but a little thing I like to refer to as my life reared its' ugly head and got in the way. Now that it has been beaten back into submission I can get back to my more important interests.
Brucey, I'm not sure why there aren't more Kolchak fans here either. There's got to be more of us, otherwise Dave, Joe & company couldn't keep putting out new stuff for us.
Maybe if the website played up the boards a little more?
Maybe if the boards got a mention in the series or GNs?
How cool would it be if Carl himself was perusing the boards while at the office?!?! Tony could catch him and berate him about slacking off at work!

Well, I've often cnsidered myself the Son of Man (at least that's what they called me in high school), so it's time for a deciple! Okay, Brucey... you need to take the word into the streets and bring Kolchak fans back to the message board. And, heck, to the sales stands too... couldn't hurt! It is now your goal and life's work to spread the Kolchakian Goodness into the empty, meaningless lives of others! How does it feel to have such purpose..?

I was reading an issue of Ultimate Spiderman and there was this frame of Peter Parker on Brian Michael Bendis's [the USM writer] board! It would be cool to see Kolchak surfing this site in an upcoming issue....

Not a huge Kolchak fan, but I did enjoy the mummy two parter with Bill the Eygption.
May try and pick up the rest of 'Tales of...' if I get some extra disposable income.
Am looking forward to the FRankenstien story too.
Is the old TV show out on DVD? The issue of 'Tales of...' that mentioned the plant man reminded me that was one of the few episodes that I remember watching and got thinking my son might appreciate seeing the show.
Now that I've said that: have their been any Kolchak comics that were sequels to TV episodes?
Yep, the series is available as a set and the two movies are on a double-feature DVD.
Well worth the money.
