Thanks. I'll definitely add more as I encounter them.

This is a pretty cool thread. Keep it up Carnacki!

the Becky Sharp/King Kong story sounds familiar. Wasn't that also printed in Blackcoats Shadowmen anthology?
Or am I mixing up my crossovers? If it's the same one I'm thinking of, it was a fun read and it's cool to hear it was part of a series of stories.
Just finished Black Magic Woman and I highly recommend it. Quincey Morris is one intrepid, vampire killing, bad a$$, Texas boy.

Happy reading everyone!

Absolutely right. It's included in the new book, which is somewhat of a fix-up of individual stories.

Finally got my copy of 'To Battle Beyond' and it's been a great read so far. Grim and gritty with a nice comic book feel. Nice to find a novel featuring super heroes that just tells a straight forward story rather then trying to be clever of over analysing.

The monster is quite creepy and the Black Bat is pretty badass. Comes across as Batman mixed with the Spider and a touch of Daredevil.

Has me looking forward to getting copies the Domino Lady and Spider anthologies.
I'm glad that you like it. I'm very impressed with C. J. Henderson's ability to work with these characters. He has a collection of stories with the character of Lovecraft's Inspector Legrasse.

I note that Ravenwood's adventures have been recently reprinted by Altus Press via Lulu.

Well, I finished 'To Battle Beyond' and must say the pay off wasn't as impressive as the build up. Took a turn into summer action movie territory and once the heroes gather in NY it felt like Henderson didn't know what to do with them all.
Plus, a bit too much modern dialogue and sensibilities hurt the pulp vibe.

You can really see his love for the BLack Bat and I would like to see him do more stories with him.
