You know it is the writer of Lions, Tigers and Bears when the tiger Kit Walker is playing with is called Ares. wink

Excellent preview. Is it just me or have the colouring-quality improved greatly?

There are not enough stories about Kit Walker's past before he became the 21st Phantom, so this will fill a hole.

I noticed that Kit's uncle is called Ephraim in this story. It's quite strange, in some stories, he's called Sid, and in some Ephraim. One of the more confusing sides of Phantom lore.

But will the story actually feature Kit's search for his father's killer; Rama Singh, as the preview "claims"? It would have been nice with a "remake" of Lee Falk's classic story where this event happens, "The Belt".
Thanks for that answer and link to the review Mike. I just asked because from Emma's post I think she was talking about #13....

Are there any reviews of it yet?
Awesome preview!

It isn't even out yet. I'd expect some reviews towards the end of the month.

There are a few in the Moonstone on the Web forum. Grin

That preview rocksthumbs up The art is looking great [the colouring is a huge step up!]. Also the Phantom's dialogue is WAY better then in the past 2 issues. Just got a question though, how old is Kit Jr in Moonstone's stories?
I thought I might also mention here in case anyone missed it, that I have added a Moonstone page to my site

This page contains two new interviews with Mike Bullock and Doug Klauba.
Brilliant interviews Ed!
Thanks Joe. I just asked questions. What makes them good is that the subjects are thoughtful, intelligent and articulate.
