YOU can MAKE A DIFFERENCE with your comic purchase!

Help make the world a better place with this special Phantom story!

“Invisible Children Part 1 (of 3)”

Ripped from today’s headlines, The Phantom takes on an African Warlord who believes he is a prophet of the Almighty God himself. At stake, are the lives of thousands of children stolen from their homes and indoctrinated into the Warlords Resistance Army through mental, physical and spiritual torture. The Warlord HIM has conscripted these ‘Invisible Children’ to fight his Holy War and assert his self-proclaimed ‘Divine Will’ on the peoples and Governments of Africa in his first step towards world domination.

Moonstone Books teams with YOU to make a difference in this tragic, continuing real world atrocity. In order to do this, Moonstone has enlisted legendary artists Darryl Banks and Terry Austin to create limited edition B covers for each issue of this story arc. For each limited edition issue of Phantoms 17-19 purchased, Moonstone Books will make a contribution to http://www.invisiblechildren.com in order to create safe havens with food, healthcare and educations for the children affected by this war.

”This book revels in what is right about the character." – Pop Thought

“Within the space of three issues writer Mike Bullock has really hit his stride.” – Broken Frontier

Yes! No we're talking Grin

I'll definetely get the limited covers!
One word: MOVING. Just by reading the Solicit I get the feeling this will be one of the most powerful Phantom stoires ever told. I will definietly be buying the Limited Edition covers.
Way to go, Moonstone!! I definitely want to support such a noble cause!

Will we we be able to order the limited covers separately or is it like Marvel and DC where stores must get a certain amount of a book to get the limited ones too?

EDIT: Mike and Moonstoners, I hope you don't mind me posting this solicit to some other boards I'm quite active: http://www.paperfilms.invisionzone.com/i...topic=2795

Yes good question because if possible, I would like to buy them directly from Moonstone so then I know I will get one...

This is perhaps the greatest piece of news related to the Phantom since, well, a long time. Finally, the character will have some relevance again in today's REAL world. He would never just sit there and watch Africa die, so I am glad Moonstone has the balls to go for such a project.

But a question remains for Mike: Will the story feature a Joseph Kony-INSPIRED character, or will the Phantom face off with the real deal? What about LRA?

This is strictly a work of fiction, based on real world events.

You never know PA you may be the villain....
Next month I'd like to put the text above in my retailer's site. I already asked for his permission and I hope Moonstone too allows me to do that. #17 will be in the next issue of Previews, so people here will forget about it, if I go online with it right now.
