So there's a new Ghost Rider movie hitting cinema's around the world even as I speak, so is anyone going to go see it?

I've mot familar with the character but I'm going to give this movie a shot. The trailer looks cool!!

Anyone going to see it?
I haven't decided yet. It's been a while I've been to the theatres, and I want to go to a movie next week. If there's something else, I'm going to see that. In any other case, I expect that Ghost Rider is going to be pure entretainment and sometimes I really should turn off logic and have fun. Grin We'll see.
Well, I saw the movie last night! Shifty

My advice: save your money for a better movie. It has some awesome visuals, but these and a handful of scenes are the only good things about the movie. Well, Eva Mendes was looking really good, too. Grin The rest of the movie is lacking logic and the dialogues get really bad towards the end. The acting was quite decent, if you forget Cage's superheroish speech at the penultimate scene.

Johnson should really work on his storytelling. Simon Birch was an awesome movie, but DD lacked good dialogues and GR now lacks a logically constructed story.

You know, when I think about it, I really hate those superheroish speeches LOL.

My brother went and saw the movie last week and he said it was alright. I've decided to just wait until the DVD is releasedGrin

Watched this movie about 2 nights ago, and it was horrible:shock: Take away a few scenes (like when he battles the police) and what are we left with? A crappy movie with a REALLY REALLY bad script. Seriously, it was just lame! Sorry if I've offended anyone who likes the movie, but it was just plain bad:sad02:
Agreed, Brucey, it's probably the worst comic book adaptation I have ever seen. I loved the director's cut of Daredevil, but I don't think Mark Steven Johnson should touch another comic book after GR, and especially not Preacher, which he's developing right now. Sad02

GR wasn't the worst comic book adaptation I've seen (second for sure), the worst for me would have to be Elektra, an absolutely awful movie which I would recommend to anyone. I didn't mind Daredevil (alhtough Affleck was poor choice to play the Man Without Fear), but there are dozens and dozens of better movies out there. *SIGH* If only there were more superhero movies like Batman Begins.....

The EDIT button isn't working, so I'm just going to point out that in my previous post the word WOULD should be wouldN'T.....
I saw the Ghost Rider movie and I liked it. It starts out slow but picks up and it does a nice job of mixing the different versions of Ghost Rider.
I enjoy most super hero movies I watch then for the fun of it not to see acadamy award winning acting. So I find them all fun to watch.
