Yes, that's right, Moonstone can once again say..."He's back!"

Captain Action, that master of diguise IDEAL action figure from the late 1960's returns!

Back in the day, CAP could disguise himself as Superman, Batman, Captain America, the Lone Ranger, etc! Original packaged outfits and such have been going for big bucks in the collector's market for decades! (Of course, he was also a Gil Kane DC comic, and there was a series of figures and outfits released by Praying Mantis a decade ago.)

Moonstone wants to give CAP his due in comics!

We're looking for proposals of no more than two pages.

The premise is entirely up to you!

Create a NEW "back story" as well as set CAP on a course for new adventures! We're looking for that one GREAT IDEA, and we know it's out there! (Please remember that CAP is a licensed property, and as such, if approved, would be considered "work for hire".)

All proposals will be subject to review. You can e-mail proposals to contact_us@moonstonebooks.com
Cool. Is there a deadline?
As a fun trivia, Captain Action could also disguise himself as the one and only Phantom. Grin
I am definitely eager to write up my proposal but I need more information about what you want. Are you just looking for a proposal with character and plot information? Do you want a two page script? Are you looking for a combination of both or are you just going to take what you decide will create the best book?
Hi!

(New guy here.) I was just wondering if we're allowed to use other Moonstone characters like the Phantom, the Spider, the Avenger, Doc Savage etc, or if those are hands off because of copyright reasons?

And also, when's the deadline?

Thanks!
One more question: Do you want art or an artist with the proposal? I only write scripts but I can provide an artist if needed.
Hey gang! Ya didn't think I forgot about ya, did ya? I tell ya, it's rough being on vacation...

Anyway!

To throw a couple of general and hopefully helpful answers at you...

The Captain Action deadline is this Friday, March 16th. We will not be using any of our other characters for the Cap stories. Art for the proposals are not necessary at this time, as we're looking for writers and an approved story pitch only right now. We will need both character info as well as a plot outline.

There! Hope that helps!

I just submitted mine. I hope it is not too late!!

Good luck to all the submitters!
Hey, all!

Quick question for Joe: will there be an official rejection notice and possibly any sort of comments on the pitches, however brief?

I just realized how pessimistic that sounded!

Good luck to all concerned! GO INTO ACTION!!!
