Hey All,

I am new to the board. I just drew this tonight. I hope you all dig it.

G'day Mek71, welcome to the Moon forums! First off, that is a really nice image. I love the face and the composition, really nice. I'd love to see this inked!

There are a few suggestions I have on how you could perhaps improve it, but I'll not post those yet as you may not want them here. If you do wish to hear my thoughts, PM me or whatever and I'll be happy to talk.

Still, really cool art man, well done!
I dig it Grin
Thanks Guys.

Dougy feel free to post you suggestions here.

Ok, here we go;

The thing that strikes me the most is the his torso looks to long and his legs too short. In measuring it up (as best I can on a monitor) I think the torso is OK, but the legs are the problem. You have the knees too high up, if you drop them, say, half a head down it should look more in proportion. Also, the hand NOT holding the gun looks too big. I know it's coming toward us, but it looks a bit...fat. I think the "pointing" finder is to chubby, and the others perhaps a touch too wide. Also you might want to define his <ahem>....man power....a bit more. He's looking a little flat. Must be a cold night in the jungle. :mrgreen:

That's all I have to say about it. Hopefully Doug will come on and give you his 2 cents worth.

Hope that helps.

Very nice art manthumbs up
Thanks guys. I just posted a Inked version above.

Wow the inks look good
The proportions are fine. The left arm and hand are larger because they are foreshortened...exaggerated perspective makes comic art more dramatic.

The holsters are a little high for a fast draw, but it's nicely done.
The torso still looks too long to me, but the inked version is very nice.
