my comic store has now got me down for an alternative cover for this mini-series

All I hope is that one can order the variant cover through Diamond. Otherwise I don't think I could get my hands on it.

The covers like nice, especially the B version

I am in for the Banks/Austin covers (love that Austin inking). Am I correct in understanding that Banks/Austin was "Cover B" for #17, but "Cover A" for #18? As in, they have flip-flopped? Just making sure I have the info to get the covers I want.

Yes. Darryl & Terry did the B cover for 17 & 19, but the A cover for 18.
