I ask because once again, Peter David is running a question/answer thread on his blog and once again someone has asked what his dream project is and once again he's answered that he'd love to do a Tarzan/Phantom mini-series.

Now, I'd love to see this, so who do we have to make nice to so it can happen?

and if Peter's not available, how about Tim Truman?

Last I heard was that Dark Horse still has the rights to Tarzan. In the past they put out lots of cross-over with characters like superman, Batman, Predator etc. It's been years since they published any new Tarzan material though, but apparently they hold on to the rights to keep other publishers away from Tarzan.

I do agree that a one-time Phantom/Tarzan miniseries would be fun to see, especially if Peter David writes it.
I wouldn't mind seeing those two team-up.
How about the Lone Ranger and Phantom teaming up. Since the Phantom has existed for ages in one incarnation or another it could happen.
