So, what did everyone get for loot?

I was lucky, my shop had a ton of stuff so there was no limit and they set out two long boxes of back issues you could paw through and get for free.

I got:

Arcanna Studios Presents: Nothing in here that I'll be running to buy, but a nice mix of titles. Good intro to their line.

Digital Webbing Jam: E-man, Fist of Justice and Zombie Highway looked good. Bloodrayne was a letdown.

Nexus: Nice recap of the characters history, but I was hopping for more about the new mini.

Pirates vs Ninjas#1: Great title, blah overly jokey story.

Astounding Wolfman #1: looks like this will be a fun read. Plus lots of ads for other Image series I'd never heard of.

I also got a Power of the Atom back issue and a Marz/Lim Silver Surfer issue I was missing.

Did Moonstone do anything for FCBD?

I picked up like 50 comics for free it was a great day. Plus this yearsis coming up soon. I hope to get lots more. Maybe some ones from Moonstone.

So not long now until FCBD '08. You always get to meet a LOT more comic fans on this day, last year I got talking to more people then I did for the entire year. Everything in store gets a slight reduction in price so its always the perfect chance to stock up on comics. *SIGH* If only May 3rd could come around sooner.

Yes I'd like it here this weekend. But its only a few weeks away now. Its always nice to get free comics.

Couldn't agree more Richv1 Haven't heard anything about Moonstone putting together a FCBD issue, anyone know if they are?

So, how'd everybody make out on FCBD 08?

I think the Atomic Robo issue was my favorite. Though, Hero by Night,Super powers and Hellboy were good reads too.
and I scored some Dad points by getting my daughter the Sonic the Hedgehog comic.

Did Moonstone do anything for FCBD?

I never saw any Moonstone comic for FCBD 08. I'm reading my regular comics first than I'll start on the FCBD ones on Fri.

I had a ball of a time at my LCS where there was much banter, sales, discussion on the Iron Man film and, to my hearts delight, young kids coming in to check out the wonderful world of comics.

As for the books, I picked up four (cause I'm special) FCBD titles; Owly And Friends, Ape Entertainment's Cartoon Palooza, Arcana Presents and Broken Trinity Prelude. I've not had the chance to read them yet but I'm looking forward to it.

Yep Fri I start on mine. There was also an anime store that was giving away free anime comics digests so I picked up some of those as well.
