Zombie-Proof #1 (of 3)

J.C. Vaughn & Vincent Spencer
32 pages / FC / $3.50

For 20 years, the denizens of San Rosina, Texas have thought locksmith
Billy Bob Driwahl was at least a little crazy because he offered the rather
unusual service of "zombie-proofing" in his Yellow Pages ad. Now that the world's being overrun by zombies, though, he's ready for them... but how did he knowbeforehand? 30pgs of story!

Cover A - By Vincent Spencer
Cover B - Variant by Neil Vokes (The Wicked West) with Tom Smith
(JLA/Avengers)
Covers will be offered in a 50/50 split
Yay!!! I've been waiting for this book since the first time JC teased it!! Can't wait!! cool
This mini is new to me, and I'll mopst likely check it out. I mean, Moonstone's horror books rock [well except for a few exceptions....]

I found the covers [A and B] plus some preview pages here:

Sadly, I'm not really digging the art:sad02: The covers are great though!

I like the art a lot!! Grin It's going to be a treat, Brucey!
I thought the art looked good. Kind of interesting to see a "ligne claire" approach in a zombie horror comic.

I might come to like the art the more I see of it, but for now [no offence to anyone who likes it] it's just kind of average. Dialogue's pretty strong though, and storywise it sounds sweetGrin So yeah, I think we are in for a treat NikoGrin

Just read it here:

And I do think I am gonna like this title!!
Thanks for the comments on Zombie-Proof #1 so far. We're very happy to be at Moonstone (I've turned into a big Phantom fan).

I had a chance to go on Fanboy TV and talk about ZP. Here's the link to my segment!

Let me know any questions you have.

Well, I try this again WITH the link:

Here's the Fanboy TV segment about Zombie-Proof and my other projects:

You know what I want to ask, if I quote this sentence, right? cool With so many excellent Phantom projects to accompany the monthly series, when are we going to see your take on the Phantom? Prose or comic, I'd really like to see this. Grin
