Anyway, it must be nice to live in a country where you can actually find good American comics. As I said, over here, we pretty much only get Spider-Man regularly, with a few Batman/Superman "special issues" scattered around. I would like to order more trade paperbacks from the US, but it's far too expensive for me at the moment (unlike Brucey, I tend to spend money on a lot more than comics and gum

).
Oh it's better then nice, Walker, for a comic nerd like my self, it's paradise (sorry to rub it in, but it is:mrgreen
Just out of curiousity, what Spider-man comics do you guys get up there??
The Spidey comics we get are off course a little bit after schedule, since they have to be translated into Norwegian, and so on. At the moment, we are getting the storyline where Peter unmasks himself for the public and Civil War in the second part of the comic (I'd say a Norwegian Spidey book is almost three times bigger than an American one). I love both arcs, to my surprise, as I was intitially kind of negative to the whole unmasking thing.
Yeah I was a bit negative to the whole "Spiderman: Unmasked" thing at first but now, boy it is one hell of an exciting ride...
Mind you though, the best is still to come with the BACK IN BLACK story arc that comes after the Civil War... it is sooo awesome:mrgreen:
Anybody here pick up Image comics 'Next Issue Project: Fantastic comics'?
Thought it was an interesting, if uneven expieriment. I enjoyed the stories where the creative team tried for a Golden Age feel, rather than the ones that tried to modernize the hero.
Though, I was pretty impressed with some of the people thay got to contribute.
Nice to see Tom Yeates and Fred Hembeck back in action.
I haven't heard of this TCH, who published it?
It'is from Image, using public domain golden age heroes. It's Erik Larson's baby.
Though, I'm generally not a huge fan of Larson, he was one of the guys who managed to bring a GA vibe to his story.
They have at least one more coming out, the unfortunately named, 'Crack Comics'.
I currently get Wolverine, Wolverine: Origins, ANT, Shark-Man, Green Lantern, JLA, Vampirela Quarterly, Sheena, and Kolchak: tales of the Night Stalker.
Plus Jungle Girl, The Sisterhood and The Dark Tower: The Long Ride Home.

Recently tried out these books from the excellend Dynamite Entertainment (you've now got a real competitor for my money Moonstone!

)
Mercenaries - Really dug the first three issues, but there haven't been any more issues published for a while so I hope its not cancelled.
Project Superpowers - Haven't read #2 yet, but #0 and #1 were very good reads. Plus, #0 featured some interior work by Doug Klauba so you can't go wrong there
Zorro - Only read the first issue (haven't had the chance to read #2 yet) but I like it so far. I'm not a big fan of the art but the writing is strong.
I get regularly:
Wolverine
Wolverine: Origins
ANT
Shark-Man
Kolchak: tales of the Night Staler
Green Lantern
JLA
Vampirella: Quartertly
Sheena
Jungle Girl
The Sisterhood
The Dark Tower: The Long Road Home
The Darkness
Witchblade
I used to get a lot more but have cut way down.

Jungle Girl
I read issue #0 and #1 of Jungle Girl but then for some bizarre reason my LCS didn't have issues 2 and 3. They've got #4 and #5 though so its very odd
