A rather prominent H'wood writer and I laid the foundation for the next Phantom Annual at SDCC on Saturday. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to spill the beans yet, but I think Falk fans will be ecstatic to hear who the Ghost will be walking with in this story.
No, please spill all the beans you've got. I'm dying to hear more about this. Who is the Hollywood-writer? What character are you talking about? Someone from the Phantom's universe, or could it be a crossover?
I loved the first annual, and I am excited to see what you can come up with for a second one. Will it be made by different creative teams this time out as well?

As for Brucey's Mandrake comment... Good idea. I admit the thought did not occur to me, since I read that publishing Mandrake would require an all new licence for Moonstone, but damn, I hope this could be true.
But I am actually even more eager to know who this Hollywood guy could be...
Great, know we know that, and I look forward to see Kit Walker and Mandrake meet once again, for the first time in a non-Falk story (I think).
Just don't pull Flash Gordon in an make Defenders of the Earth Begins or something.
