Mike Wieringo passed away earlier this week. He was a wonderful artist and a nice man. His work on Flash, Spidey, and Fantastic Four was terrific, and his independent stuff has a wonderful sense of fun and adventure. He was a pro's pro, and a model for how to treat fans. He was generous with his time and thoughtful in his opinions. I didn't know him as well as I would've liked. But I'll miss him. Everyone who came in contact with him will miss him.
