I read David Michelinie's story yesterday (on the Phantom's birthday), and enjoyed it a great deal. The description of the confused Phantom waking up in the middle of the jungle, not remembering who he is, was particularly good. It certainly made me wonder how I would feel if I suddenly found myself dressed in purple tights! The fact that the Phantom walked around for so long not wearing his mask, would surely give the opportunity to have half of the cast die a really terrible death, but you can't get everything you want. wink

Also read The Ghost Who Dies a few days ago; another very good tale. It was interesting to see (SPOILER!) the way Julie's son ended up being the antagonist. The showdown between the real and fake Phantom was very well written, and the ending was excellent.
