Oops, I wasn't ignoring you, really Brucey! I did see your question, anyway, on to Cleo. Yes, we still plan on coming out with it at some point. Sometimes we just encounter occassional snags...sigh. The good news is we do have an artist hard at work on it now, so I believe issue one is coming along nicely at this point and I just saw the script for #2. Tentatively I would say Cleo #1 should be out in the first half of 2007. I know it's been a long time coming, but it's cool beautiful stuff. Another strong female character from Moonstone! And another comic brought to you by CJ Henderson, the man that brought us Lai Wan.
Thanks for asking about her!
Moonstone Gal out...
Don't worry about missing the question the first time! As I said in my earlier post I like [love] the ancient characters coming into print! An Alexander the Great story would be nice. Well I guess I better start saving some money for 2007, your going to be getting a lot of money next year with the Prose Anthologies, Earp/Kid crossover, some more Khan [fingers crosses] the Phantom more often [WOO HA!], Infiniteens, Cleopatra, the list is endless!!
Thanks for the good answers!
BRUCEY
Oh yes, I do. The Shadow does, fortunately ( Grin03 ) not have the Phantom's worldvide appeal and popularity (just love sayin' that), but he is still, somehow, a more famous character than the Phantom in the US.
Off course, when Moonstone is done with the Phantom licence, it would be cool, but not before the purple guy have been riding into the sunset with Hero for one last time.
Well, we might get the chance to see if your right as another company is about to release a number of Shadow stories according to the new Previews.
...when Moonstone is done with the Phantom licence...
Say what?
Well, we might get the chance to see if your right as another company is about to release a number of Shadow stories according to the new Previews.
Didn't see that in the Previews. Can you tell what company please?
And I got to agree with MIke about Moonstone being done with the Phantom licence.
Moonstone has stories for years, if not decades...
...
Mike, why isn't it September already?
I didn't see the Previews, but I know Anthony Tollin has acquired the license to reprint the original Shadow and Doc Savage pulp novels, and will be publishing trade paperback reprints in partnership with Nostalgia Ventures, Inc.
I'm looking forward to them.

When buckets of money fall from the sky, The Shadow will be one of the first characters we will pick up, I promise!
I already thought you people had buckets of money. With all the special Phantom projects you announce all the time, I started to believe Joe had won the lottery or something.
But seriously, as one Mike Bullock said in some article, it's a wonder that you are still considered to be "small press".
Hi Lori!
I re-registered today. O.k., so tell me, who from Moonstoone will be at Wizard World Chicago?
Don't know if Lori's checking forum with con prep and all, so I'll jump in:
I imagine Joe, Lori and Dave will be there, as they're all local and were there last year. As for creators, I'll be there, and I'm told Ken Wolak and EricJ will be as well.
When you drop by the booth to say hi, I'm sure they'll have a full signing schedule set up, too. If you're going tonight, I'll see you there!
Take care,
Mike
