Hi Lori!
I re-registered today.  O.k., so tell me, who from Moonstoone will be at Wizard World Chicago?

Our friend Mike O is right, we will be there with bells on, woohoo! Come on by and say hi, buy some goodies, get some swag. Buy any Phantom comics/graphic novels and get a free Phantom poster! Free Phantom bookmarks for all who stop by, but supplies are limited on both of these, so don't delay! About who all will be there, well a ton of people, too many to name because I'm too damn tired, lol. SD wiped Joe and I out, so if you see us and we look a little bedraggled, please forgive us.

See you there...
The very tired Moonstone Gal

Cool, I'll see you all tomorrow or Sunday!
Hi Lori,

below is a question I asked Mike Bullock here in the Phantom section of the forum, but he didn't really know so I thought I'd post it here too:

#1–4 of the comic series is available in the TPB "Death in the Deep Woods". I'm hoping there will be a TPB with #5–11 aswell (these stories are a bit shorter, so I think it would be possible to squeeze them all into one volume instead of doing two trade volumes).

TPB's are great for new readers to catch up on what's come out previously instead of tracking down individual issues. Mike, do you know if a new TPB volume is planned to come out anytime soon? It would be great if it could be released shortly after you have started your run on the series (and hopefully attracted a bunch of new readers).

Do you have any info on this? Mike mentioned that there might be a trade with #12–15 coming out after his run gets going, but does that mean there will be a trade with #5–11 first?

Sorry it's taken me a couple of days to get back to you, I'm still recovering from the Chicago convention. We do hope to collect issues 5-11, but not quite yet. Most likely sometime next year, and then after that we will collect Mike's first story arc. So as soon as we know something, we will post it, I promise.

Best,
Moonstone Gal

Hey Lori,
I was wondering how to order the hard back version of the new Spider anthologie. I've been a huge Spider fan for a long time and would really love the limited edition HB copy. Is there a way to go about getting one?

Thanks
JM

Hi JM!

The limited edtion hardcover of The Spider Chronicles will be in the October copy of Previews. So look for that issue of Previews to hit the stands in late September/early October. You can then preorder a copy of the hardcover thru your local comic shop. The book itself will be shipping in January of 2007. At this time we are not excepting preorders on our website, but once the book is released, we SHOULD have some copies available for order on our website. So if you choose that option, you will have to wait until the book is released to order your copy. I suggest you contact your local retailer when the October Previews hits stands, so he or she can order a copy for you.

Thanks for the interest! This will be the first of our hardcover limited editions. We hope to do more in the future as new anthologies are released. Yes Phantom phans if you are reading this, this means that we have every intention of soliciting a hardcover limited edtion of the Phantom prose anthology along with the paperback in late spring of 2007.

Moonstone Gal out...

Sounds cool lori. How much will these HardCovers cost?

I know that the planned Graham Nolan HC was a bust (such a shame) however I was wondering that with Legacy selling so well and Law of The Jungle being a hit are there any plans for Phantom HCs ar all either now or in the distant future?

Yep I heard that it was a flop as well. I actually think that tha Graham Nolan Sunday's were the weakest Phantom product so far. But yes a HD for Legacy and others would be cool!

The Spider Chronicles Hard Cover Limited Edtion with an extra tipped in sheet , signed and numbered by artist Doug Klauba will retail at $39.95.  Please note: this tipped in sheet will feature art that Doug has produced exclusively for this limited edtion!!!  Future volumes (including the Phantom anthologies) of our prose anthologies will most likely have limited hardcover editions available also for around the same price point of $39.95.  At this time, we have no plans to go back and reprint any of our recent/older releases in limited hardcover form, but you never know, if this really takes off, we just might do something crazy like that!!!
