What did you think?

I had a quick read of this last night and I will have to say it was ok, not brilliant, not bad, but somewhere in the middle. The major down point for me was that it was way to short for my liking and seemed a little rushed but I suppose that it is what happens when you only get a few pages to tell a story. I did like the ending being left open so that you know there is more to come and the twist of "Lothar" & "The Phantom" being the thief was really cool.

All in all I would say it has done enough to get me interested in what's coming up and I can not wait to see Mandrake again in The Phantom annual.

Finally got to read this last night. Like Geagh's mentioned it suffered from the limited space but it was a fun story. I really like how they've up-date the costume, especially the cape/coat hybrid thing. But no top hat?

Can't wait for the annual and the up-coming GNs.

I have to say though, the rest of the issue was rubbish! I won't be getting any more Captain Action issues after #2 (as I've already pre-ordered #2) even if there is a back-up. It's not worth $8.80.
