Finally got to read this and it was brilliant.
Unlike some past stories featuring old characters this reads like Steven Grant actually listened to a bunch of the old radio shows and captured the feel of them while giving it his own twist.
Loved the over the top hard boiled one liners, I could hear Jack Webb's voice while I was reading this story.
I'm usually not a huge Tom Mandrake fan, but his art worked for this story.
Liked his granddaughter, but the lesbian bit felt tacked on.
Would love to see more Pat Novak stories.
