When reading the next parts of this story, it will be very interesting to see how Diana's presumed assasination will affect the Phantom in his search for the killers. Ben Raab touched upon this in the excellent Stones of Blood, but a five-part tale should leave a lot more space for a writer to show how the tragedy affects Kit.
Great art by Silvestre, as always. Not as easy to comment a script from a preview, off course, but if this is anywhere near as good as part 1 we're in for a treat. I look forward to see how Temur Singh and the Jade Dragon are tied into this.
Very nice to see the return of the "he's not a dog, he's a wolf" line. Next, we need the Phantom going into a dark bar and simply ordering "Milk", to the bartender's bemusement.

Using "OJS" instead of "Old Jungle Saying" takes the vim away from the entire concept, and it sounds more like a low-class screwdriver!
Likewise with "Ghost Who Edits". It's not clever in the least!

Hey, I LOVE the Ghost Who Edits thing. Just a fun, little way of winking to the reader, which is clever enough for me. It certainly feels a bit more personal and fresh than the too standard "Editor's note".

yup, however it feels a bit cheesy since one of the big two have thrashed it to death for whatever it's worth!
But hey... it's comics!
