Well, its about time

Although I've been rather negative to the thought of seeing my favourite character team up with other fictional heroes earlier, there's a part of me that would love to see one of the Phantom's ancestors meet Sherlock Holmes (he's already met and battled Dr. Moriarty in an Egmont story!).

That's a great idea! That part of the flexible nature of the Phantom lineage -- you can plug in any sort of cross-over or period story.
