Good movie. Loved all the little references to past movies as well as the fifties. It was like an old 12 chapter serial cliffhanger jammed into two hours.
and I don't care how old he gets, Indiana Jones is still the coolest guy in the room.
and I got a Hellboy preview. Life is good.
Not the best movie in the series, but that doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it. This movie had some great moments, and had a very old school Indie feeling to it which I really enjoyed. Only problem I had with this was the ending, the alien element made the movie feel more like "X-Files" then an Indie movie. Apart from that it was good, and I'm looking forward to Indie 5!
Unfortunately I didn't enjoy Indiana Jones 4. The CGI at the beginning I felt was not needed and the aliens? Damn, that just really irks me. There were some cool moments though but all in all I felt it the weakest of the series.

I agree that it was the weakest of the series, but I feel people are being a bit hard on the film. There were some moments that didn't work very well and the action was generally not as good as what we see in the earlier films, but I was overally pleased to see my favourite actor back in his signature role again. Seriously, if the movie had consisted of Ford wearing that outfit coming out of a door, saying "Hello folks", and then end again, I would probably have been happy. It's Indiana Jones, after all.
