Hey Moonstone supporters, sound off!
Who's coming to the Chicago Con this week end?

I'll be in Artist's Alley with a whole bunch of talented folks and other Moonstone creators. Look for the Mob Rules crew at tables 4600-4616: a small list of fellow Moonstone Mob Members are Raf Nieves, Len "Cisko" Kody, Eric J, "Dashin" Dan Dougherty, Tom "Doc Savage" Roberts, etc.... ( look at my official blog for a complete list: http://www.douglasklauba.blogspot.com ). You'll find me sandwiched between Gary Reed and Rafael Nieves' Transfuzion Studios and my cohorts General Jack Cosmo Productions. I'll have a limited number of my Sketchbook available, all kinds of signed and numbered Prints (including the brand new Kolchak and The Spider limited editions from Moonstone), comics and original art from drawings to Phantom paintings on display and for sale (and yes, there are still a couple of Superpower pages left).
Stop by and say "hello".

And you can see me sitting with the crew from Dynamite Entertainment at their panel on Saturday:
11 a.m.-12 p.m.
The Dave Stevens Room: 10-11
Join Dynamite Entertainment and special guests from both comics and other media for an exciting hour of news, discussion, free comics and special BIG announcements. It's a DON'T MISS event!

Hopefully, I'll be able to get a word or two in on the panel conversation! I mean, when you have guys like Alex Ross and Jim Krueger in front of you, who are you going to talk to?

And I'm sure you'll be able to bump into me at the Moonstone Books booth at some point over the week end!
See you there!

If only the US wasn't so far away...
I just read that Dynamite Entertainment is going to be doing the Phantom now. DE is a great publisher. I love most of their books, but what does that mean for Moonstone?

I wouldn’t' go to a comic book convention even if is was here in Montréal, 2 blocks away :-)

But as for what I heard of Dynamite Entertainment aquirering a Phantom title right, maybe a futuristic one, or the original from centuries back, pick one, if you can... but either Moonstone does not have exclusivity permission, or it’s a different character than of Moonstone, or Moonstone will soon become the property of Dynamite Entertainment, and again, pick one

Maybe that`s why the THE PHANTOM: JUNGLE ACTION TPB is months late with no news that it will ever come out

And who knows, maybe someone will finally have the balls to release the original Phantom Newspaper Strips starting in the 1930`s in high quality hardcover editions

Latest info is on the Phantom board. Moonstone still has their license and D.E. has another. Keep your fingers crossed and maybe we'll get double the Phantom goodness.
