yes agree with Mike that this is my favourite as well. I like the reflection, its cool.
well done
I know I am in serious danger of sounding like I'm out to kiss Puggdogg's ***, but I have to say it amazes me he has not already drawn several Phantom covers for either Moonstone, Egmont or Frew. Again, absolutely amazing, far more interesting than any of the recent Egmont or Frew covers. It would be cool if you could keep these things coming even after the competition has ended, as I get a new wallpaper every time you post an entry.

Well thank you very much Walker. I would love to have a job on a Phantom series. Either as a cover artist, a colourist or even both. That would be a dream come true. I need to put a resume together one of these days. I've only had two of my works published but I wasn't payed because they were for competitions.
My first publication was an advertisement for the movie 'Eagle Vs. Shark'

and my second was a page in the 'Street Fighter 20th Anniversary Tribute Book'. This was the best thing that's happened with my art so far. It will easily be beaten if I win the Phantom comp.

I'm still waiting for the book to arrive.'
Perhaps if I win this comp I may have a chance at being hired but then I have no idea (apart from two others) who else has submitted any designs. Less then a week to go now until the comp ends. Fingers crossed.
Really, you should also submit some of your work to Egmont's editor Ulf Granberg. It strikes me that they are in a greater need of interesting covers than Moonstone, which are already doing some cracking work on that front. Egmont, however, varies greatly in quality with their recent covers, and they can at the moment look a little uninspired in many cases, with the cover frequently having no relation to what's inside the book (they often just show the Phantom's head or him in some kind of "arms crossed" pose). Moonstone does a better job of making cool illustrations of what is going on inside the story, like the terrific one for #24.
I'd be happy to give you the contact information, if you'd like to try, as I would truly kill to see something like your cover # 4 or the newest one on an Egmont Phantom comic (which will be published in both Norway, Sweden and Finland if they accept your work).

Oh wow, absolutely dude. Hook me up and I'll check it out. Thanks man.
Edited out 'cause I lost track of time...
Is it September 5th in the States already?

Well, the contest is officially over. As far as I know, a winner had been selected and they're mulling over some choices for runners-up. Congrats to everyone who entered!
I think the winner & runners up will be announced in about a week or so, but I'm not sure...
So have there been more entries than what we have seen in this thread?

My bad, I thought it was over September 1st. Man, I have too many things going on at once...
So have there been more entries than what we have seen in this thread?
Oh yeah. The majority of the entries are not in this thread.
