I agree with ArcLight, I'd really like to see the transition to a new Phantom.

Other than that, I'd like to see the continuation of reoccurring villains. Mr. Bullock's done a great job so far of building a rogues gallery.

Keep the stories set in the jungle. It's okay for him to have an adventure in a city once in a while (some globetrotting would be nice), but he does live in the jungle.

And keep up the multi-part stories. Although the latest arch did seem to bog down a bit in spots. The late shipping didn't help, but sometimes it seemed there were too many pages of bad guys sitting around talking and not enough action.

And some stories featuring previous Phantoms would be nice.

I've not read any of the Phantom prose stories but has there ever been any consideration given to publishing them as back up material in the ongoing? Seems like a nice way to cross promote the prose line and add some bang for the buck value to the monthly.

We've actually been kicking that idea around for awhile now. Since you've requested it, Joe seems ready to give it a shot. Keep your eyes open for something to appear in the back of the new series, around issue 2 or 3... Dance
