Another comic book movie in theatres this summer! This Gal checked it out, and overall I think Beast was my favorite part of the film, but I missed Nightcrawler.
In order from best to worst, IMO: X-Men 2, X-Men 3, and X-Men 1. How about all of you out there, what did you like or dislike about the movie? Will you buy it on dvd?
I'll definatly get it on DVD! I have to say i liked X1 more than X2, but X2 more than X3.
I did really enjoy it, it was so good to see Colossus and Kitty gettin in on the action. I felt it was a very powerful film emotionaly - I really felt for Magneto in there, as well as the X-Men. To be honest, I was thinking "Yeah, kill the humans!" It was tops.
I bet there will be and X4, dispite the films title.
Eh...I didn't have any real problems with it. I've never been a big X-Men fan so I'm not the best judge.
I have, however, had a 'thing' for Famke Janssen since her first foray into comic book characters (and no, it wasn't the first X-Men movie!) so they were definitely okay just because she was there.

I have to say Famke looked damn fine in this film. I wish I could get my hair to look as good as hers! And where can I find one of those cool red bustiers she had on? I don't even go for chicks, but it's hard to deny how very hot she looked in that outfit! I really felt for poor Cyclops, I feel he didn't get the death scene he deserved *sniff sniff*...
Yeah, Famke (how do you pronounce her name?) looked amazing. I felt they could of done alot more with her character though.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. 
I was actually really disappointed with X:3. I am a huge X-men fan and I felt that they tried to use too many story lines in X:3 and didn't give any of them the screen time they deserved.
The one bright point was Beast. He was awesome and Kelsey Grammar did an incredible job portraying one of my favorite characters.
Jean did look hot, but I think that the "Dark Phoenix" story should have been developed more. Unless you're familiar with the story I'm not sure that the movie provided enough explaination.
Also, I was surprised to see Psylocke in the credits. I surely didn't see her in the movie. Unless she was supposed to be the purple haired chick with the morlocks (also not explained well enough). If that is the case, then boy what a waste of a character.
I would rank the movies in this order 2, 1, 3. Nightcrawler was amazing and next to Wolvie the best done character in the flicks. Magneto and Xavier were also very well done, but how can you go wrong with Patrick Stewart.
The characters that were awful--- Storm: She looked great, but they wrote her dialogue terrible. Storm would not talk like that. Sabretooth: Again, looked GREAT/written BAD. And poor Rogue. My second favorite X-men character after Wolvie. She is just completely wrong in the movies. How disappointing.
Well, sorry to rant on the subject but this is something I feel very strongly about.
