Ok, this is a bit of a phan-wank (can I use that term here?Think) qustion ,but here goes. Appart from the Singh and the Sky Band (as they have been covered) is there any "classic" Phantom hero that you'd love to bring back, such as the Gibbs Brothers, T (for Terrorists) the Vampires, The Goggel Eyed Pirates (THAT would be cool - the Goggled Eyes all teched up ooooh Dance)?

I don't know if you watch the new Doctor Who series (if you haven't seen it you're missing out!) but they od this thing where they have new, original monsters nearly every ep but the big cliffhanger hanger eps (the last two of the season) and one of two others for set up bring back an up-dated Classic series monster. I reckon it'd be cool to do somethng similar with the Phantom comic. But thats just me and I'm a geek.

P.S. I got a PM  from Mr. Doug Klauba a second ago and he said that he got you so sign a Phantom poster for me that he's gonna mail over (he's my new best friend) and I just wanted to say thanks for signing it. So, thanks Mike! :onetooth:

At the moment I don't have any plans made for any other older villians. That doesn't mean I won't make plans at some point in the future, but there are none currently. I think with the the three new villians I'm introducing over the course of the next year, and the Sky Band, The Phantom will have his hands full for the foreseeable future.

Your welcome for the poster. We also signed some posters and a few other goodies for an upcoming Phantom contest. So, for anyone who isn't Dougy, you'll have a chance to win one for yourself. Grin

It would be kinda nice to see some old Falk villains back (like Hydra), but if you have the ability to create interesting, memorable, new enemies for the Phantom, nothing would be better. Just don't make any of the bad guys wear tights or something! wink

Well, one of them wears different outfits based on what he's doing and another wears $2000 tailored suits. wink

And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I won't bring back more of the old villians, I just don't have any in my current outlines. I have enough stories ready to go at the moment to take us to issue 30, and enough ideas waiting to be developed to go past 50 easily. That doesn't mean that some point in there I won't bring someone back for a visit if the need strikes me. Shhh

Y'know, it feels weird just hearing the words "Phantom" and "to go past 50 easily" in the same sentence. In a positive way, mind.
I am looking forward to see if Manuel Ortega lives up to the hype. He's sure got an interesting look; and I hope there's substance to him as well as style.

They were quite the pair, weren't they? I haven't made it to the Hydra story, but it's on my list to read soon. Grin

Just another question Mike!
Any chance of seeing Rex anytime soon. If we do see him soon could you possibly show him a bit older then what he his? My reason for saying this is that whenever Kit and Heloise appear on the scene these days they look like 12 or something and Rex looks the same age. They most definetly aren't the same age because Rex must've been at least 8 or something when the twins were born which would make him at least 18. I thinkThink

He won't appear before issue #25, I can tell you that much.

On that note, will Rex be in his kingly possition and hanging out with the beautiful Alicia in your story? Oooh I hope so, as it'd be cool to see he ruling Barhonkahn (hope I spelt that right) still.
