Without spoiling anything, would you mind telling us a little more about what you thought about the book, Dougy?
The book was finally available from the UK Amazon, so I ordered my copy today. I hope the story is as good as the artwork.

I've always wanted to read one of Joe's stories so Law of the Jungle seems like the perfect place to start. Only problem is I have NO money. Oh well for what I've heard about it it will be worth the wait!!

The book is about how people could possibly view The Phantom. While its from the eyes of a villan, it raises the question "what exactly is THe Phantom saying about himself?" It's a bit of a character study.

In addition to that, it also deals with the concept of Justice, specifically The Phantom's Justice vs the Assassins Justice vs the Tribes Justice.
I really liked it too, it was a great way to tell a story and some of the art was just amazing. I loved pages 28-29 especially.

If nothing else, it certainly wasn't "just average". The story is thought provoking, the artwork intelligent in its design and the format is somewhat groundbreaking.

Would any one who's read this be able to write a review or something? I saw the one over at Deepwoods but that was just...in fact I'm not even going to get into that. I would write one [well at least attemp to;p] but I still haven't read it yet!

Everyone would just accuse you of Moonstone ass-kissing if you said you liked it, so what's the point?

Wrong board. Here there seems to be a much nicer balance of things.
As for a review, I am setting up a blog just for Phantom reviews, I should have a link to post in a day or two. Law of the Jungle will be one of the first three I do.
