Yes, it would be nice to know what Moonstone thinks of these sales. Might be a bit of an "up yours" to all those who seem to think slightly lower slaes justify Moonstone bashing.

Maybe you could do that for them cool

I could, but, you know, but they wouldn't listen anyway. It'd be like Wall
BUT you should be used to it by now mate - lol
Yes, that's true. But it still amazes me how closed minded some people are.
My personal opinion is that the old fuddy daddies dont like change as it messes with their established mindset
I agree. But don't say it too loud or you'll be hated forever. (I know) laugh

Honestly, you two when you start!Sick

Where do I fit in, then? I thought LOTJ was a very interesting read, but it didn't feel quite like the Phantom somehow. Interesting art and interesting prose. I didn't get the end. Fuddy daddy? Or Mommy?

With affection,

Pip

I'm not sure where you fit in either. From the time of your response and the readiness which you seem to get Moonstone comics, it seems like you might actually be a female US Phantom fan. Not unheard of, but not many online. Your concerns seem to be with appropriate content rather than the story lines conforming to Scandinavian standards.

Different film directors will often have very different approaches to a character on the big screen...whether it be Superman, Batman, Tarzan, James Bond etc. with a wide range of results. It seems sometimes that  Phantom fans who post on the boards are often very rigid and very passionate about their take on the character. However, it also seems like there is a very small demographic representation of Phantom readers on the forums.

We welcome your take on the comics.

Thank you. I have always been courteously received here even when I have voiced reservations, but from what Dougy and Germ said earlier it seems that I will have to regard their equally courteous respones as tounge in cheek.

It's all right lads, I can take it.Smokin02

I said what I did because you get certain Phantom Phans who cannot handle a little bit of a change in thier belvolved Phantom that they read when they were kids and teh world was a better place. They can not handle or even imagine a place were the Phantom battles real issues of bombers, killers and maybe having to do something out of the ordinary for a certain situation.

Old people dont like change and especially not with their comic. It happened when Egmot started to release their own stories that were different from Falk and now with Moonstone....
