Eight planets, you say? Well, don't get comfortable. Soon, there will be only SEVEN! Mwah hah hah hah hahahahahaha... *urmmm* But then, I've said too much...
7 PLANETS!! GOOD GRIEF WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO... no wait hold on, 7's a lucky number! So that means, if their are 7 planets, maybe we'll have World Peace! Anyways moving on ...
A Trade Paper Back is basically a collection of stories from a series and often collects story arcs.
Yes, yes... Trade Paperback. It's essentially a collection of previously released material. For example, we'll put out several issues of a comic book, and after they've been out for a while and some of them start to go out of print, we collect some together into a single volume and make it available again in this squarebound book form.
OK, thanks. I have TPBs & didn't even know it.

I just found the two Kolchak issues Brucey mentioned in a two for a dollar bin and gave them a try.
Sorry, but I'm kind of luke warm about Kolchak so was too much of a cheap bastard to pay full price.
Great story. Liked Santi and Bill the Eygption, as well as the clever take on mummy curse stories.
and you even mentioned the Plant man episode! One of the couple TV shows I'd actually seen.
I will have to track down the other 'Tales of' issues, if they are all this good. Might even be willing to pay cover price next time.

2 for a buck??!? I had to pay $13.50 for those 3 TALES stories I bought [5, 6, 7]
It was worth it though!
Sorry if I caused any emotional trauma with my 'two for a buck' mention.
There are two comic shops, one has a two for a buck box ( mostly full of old Image and Valiant titles. Kolchak was a rare exception) and the other has a 'all comics for a buck box'.
It's a nice way to try some titles I'm iffy on or pick up some cheap back issues.

Don't worry, I'm over over it now....kinda.

But I'M not! Who's puttin' my books in a "2 for a buck" box? Huh? Huh? I want names!!!

Heh heh....reminds me of the scene in "Gene Simmons' Family Jewels" when he finds a KISS shirt in a vintage clothing store for something like $2.50.
He wasn't offended that it was old enough to be 'vintage', just that it was priced so low. I think he bought it and paid $50 for it.
So, in trying to say nice things about Kolchak I've traumatized Brucey and hurt Dave's feelings.
I can't go anywhere without getting into trouble. My wife was right.
