Comixology?

I just acquired an iPod touch, and I've purchase and read the first two issues of Captain Action on the Comixology app. Are there plans to release issues 3-5 this way? It doesn't look as if anything's been posted since August.

Thanks,

-Jeremy

Hey Moonstone, any word on this???

Jeremy, did you check out the Captain Action 1 Shot -- 1st Mission, Last Day? It's looks like it's up on Comicology.

Hi Jeremey, I believe this is being worked on at the present. It should be up in February.

Joe,

Have you had much traction with these downloads of CA? That $1 price point is really attractive (especially for the shorter stories). I don't have an t touch/phone YET but I will definitely be checking CA out on there when I do get one.

RE: Comixology?

Thanks, Joe. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

JDkidd- No, I didn't check the 1st Mission, Last Day, which is more an illustrated novella, no? And I absolutely agree; the 99 cent price point makes it easier for me to check out indy titles that I might not otherwise. I skipped Captain Action on the stands as it didn't really appeal to me, but the free preview issue up on Comixology intrigued me enough to pay the 99 cents for the first issue and got me hooked.

I've also gotten absolutely hooked on AtomicRobo this way, another book I never picked up in pamphlet format.

The iPod is not replacing my pamphlets, I'm still reading Buckaroo on paper, for example, but this does open up an inexpensive way for me to try titles I might not otherwise.

Yeah, the 1st Mission, Last Day is the novella format; it seems like that would be tougher to pull off on the iphone. Have you bought any other books on there?
